Cedarhaus Command Center

One screen for the whole house network: the floor plan, the three racks, every documented drop and link, power and PoE, and everything still open. Built from the same records that drive the rest of this site, so what you see here is what the workbook, diagrams, and decisions actually say.

Why this exists. The house sits on land my mother gave us — it was her home we took down in Phase 0 to build this one — and it is possible because of what my father left. The framing and the fiber are both part of the record.

Interactive floor plan

Click a room to list what is installed there. Geometry is traced from the architectural plan and marked Estimated until surveyed.

Rack explorer

Front elevations drawn from device records (rev 2026-08-17). Click a unit for its role, power feed, and evidence.

Patch-panel & port mapper

The STRG wall field by physical panel (map rev 2026-08-17). Click a keystone to trace it. Security drops show a port number only. 38 of the 39 landed keystones are still in the 08-14 photographed order and wait on the re-landing worklist.

Cable tracer

Follow a drop from the wall plate to the panel, the surge path, and the switch. Switch ports are assigned at patch day.

Open alerts

Unverified items, capacity limits, and conflicts the records still carry.

    Power & PoE

Circuits, UPS units and PDUs with estimated load against capacity.

    FeedKindFed byLoad / capStatus

    Decisions & changes

Newest first. Older values are struck through, never deleted.

Device-to-device links from the connection inventory. Filter by layer.
